Solby Privacy Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

In short: Solby has no accounts and doesn't know who you are. Your tasks, goals and sessions stay on your device. We collect anonymous usage statistics (like "a timer was started") to make the app better. We never sell your data and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

What stays on your device

Everything you type or create in Solby, including task names, goals, subtasks, session history, reflections and settings, is stored only on your device. We never receive it.

What we collect

Solby sends anonymous usage events to help us understand which features work and where people get stuck. These include:

None of this is linked to your identity.

Who processes it

Usage events are processed by PostHog, our analytics provider, on servers in the United States. PostHog processes the data on our behalf and doesn't use it for its own purposes.

What we don't do

Feedback emails

If you email us, for example through the envelope button in test versions of the app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, including the app version and device model the app adds to the message. We use it only to read and reply to your feedback.

How long we keep it

Anonymous usage events are kept only as long as they're useful for improving Solby. Feedback emails are kept as long as needed to follow up on them. You can ask us to delete either at any time.

Your choices

Children

Solby isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
